After the agent framework hype, what capabilities actually remain
Framework cycles move quickly, but the needs underneath them are remarkably stable. Real agent-style systems still need task decomposition, tool routing, state handling, audit trails, and clean human handoff points.
That is why framework arguments age so fast. The lasting value usually lives in workflow design, not in the label on top of it.
